Dear L4U Guru:
We just upgraded to L4U Platinum 2.1 and would like to change the skins displayed on the iPAC. I heard somewhere that it’s been made even easier to change the look of the iPAC. How can these settings be adjusted and is there any additional information I should know about?

Dear Chamleon:
Setting the iPAC to have a new look and feel has become much easier in Platinum 2.x. The skins can be changed in Administrative L4U as a default, or on the fly from the patron. To set the default appearance of the iPAC, Go to File > Preferences. Click the L4U iPAC button at the Top, then choose the Option for iPAC Customizations at the bottom of the screen. From this panel you will be able to choose from a selection of five different iPAC Skins.

If you would like to change the Skin on the fly during a session on the iPAC, there is an iPAC Customization button (small yellow gear) displayed in the top right hand corner of the iPAC, clicking on this will enable several settings including the skin to be adjusted until the browser is closed.

Online Training
Our online training classes are a big hit with our L4U newcomers and our experienced L4U veterans. Online training allows you to learn from the convenience of your own computer, without incurring any travel expenses. You do not need L4U open or even on the computer for the training session. We use our installation of L4U and present via the Internet. Cost effective, targeted training lets you choose what and when you learn. Kelowna Software offers the following options for Online training;

Premium Online Training - One and a half hour specialized sessions, with limited class sizes to allow for interaction with the trainer. Enrollment information and upcoming dates are available through Client Corner

Personal Online Training - One on one interaction with the trainer, on the topics that best suit your needs.
