Kelowna Software Ltd.
Helps Young Boy's Dream Become Reality

Kelowna, B.C. - Kelowna Software Ltd., developers of Library 4 Universal™ (L4U) for school libraries, encourages young students to excel in studies and computers.

The Diamond Library, in Bolton, Ontario, is the private home library of Mr. Michael Diamantides and his 11-year old son Nicholas. An active volunteer at his school library, the 11-year old enquired about the L4U software his school uses, set up his computer and accessed the Internet to obtain a demonstration CD of L4U. Nicholas was further encouraged to catalogue his books when Mr. Diamantides purchased barcode labels for him. Meanwhile, the 11-year old had been diligently saving his money to purchase his own L4U system.

Having heard of the 11-year old's dedication and determination, Kelowna Software Ltd. decided to help Nicholas achieve his dream by contributing a fully-functional copy of Kelowna Software Ltd.'s L4U software, in addition to its CheckMARC application (used to help with the cataloguing of books) and one year of free support.

"Kelowna Software Ltd. is very proud and excited to contribute its L4U software to The Diamond Library. The company takes pride in improving access to resources for children, and can think of no better way to accomplish this task than to help this young, talented boy set up his own library" states company President Braden Messenger.

The Diamond Library currently has over 1000 books in its collection.
