L4U Hosting Options

L4U Library Software offers 3 different hosting options for Libraries and School Districts of any size and situation to provide you with the flexibility you need. You run the Library. We'll run the software.

Co-Hosted

L4U provides a fully configured server with L4U Enterprise and all District Library data pre-installed. The server and software remain the property of L4U but the physical machine resides at a central location within your District. Once the District IT Department has granted L4U access to the pre-configured Server, their job is complete. From that point on, the L4U Support Team completely manages the L4U Server and Server software including monitoring, updates and back-ups.

A Co-Hosted solution provides peace of mind, knowing that the L4U Server is being managed by the L4U Support Team and frees up your District IT staff to focus on other priorities. Your data remain on your site and access to the data is at your District intranet speeds.

Fully Hosted

A Fully Hosted Solution means that L4U will take care of the entire server side of the L4U Solution.

L4U supplies a fully configured Server with L4U Enterprise and all District Library data pre-Installed. The server and software remain the property of L4U and resides in our state-of-the-art data center. With guaranteed uptimes in excess of 99.99% and extremely high speed/high bandwidth VWAN access points, continuous access to your L4U Library Collection is a certainty. All users, either Librarians or Library Patrons, can connect to the L4U Server from any standard web browser. Once connected, the users can carry out all of their day to day Library activities.

A Fully Hosted implementation provides the ultimate in peace of mind. Not only is the server fully managed but the network is too. Data access is at internet speeds.
